Your tasks:

Co-underwriting for international client relationships of defined operation types in the Property area together with the worldwide HDI Global SE units with final underwriting decision and profit responsibility
Independent, profit-oriented technical property underwriting of major US risks
Monitoring and controlling of the managed portfolio
Further development of the underwriting policy of the managed operating mode
Conception and support of the decentralized units in the sales process
Cooperation in a Practice Group and/or coordination of a Practice Group for overarching topics
Driving further projects of strategic change topics

Your profile:

Successfully completed apprenticeship in insurance and finance, preferably with appropriate further training (e.g. insurance specialist / business administrator) and/or technical or business studies or comparable qualification
Professional experience in underwriting of industrial property risks desirable
Good understanding of numbers and not afraid of data analytics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint) and willingness to familiarize yourself with other IT systems-
Independent and solution-oriented way of working in a team
Communicative, intercultural and interpersonal soft skills
Fluent in written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages welcome
Willingness to travel to European and occasionally non-European countries
