Power Plant Risk Engineer for Gas & Steam turbines

Your tasks:

Assessment and monitoring of power plant risks during erection, commissioning and operation in an international environment
Risk assessment and calculation of (maximum) loss estimates
Reviewing the implementation of risk improvement measures
Close cooperation with Underwriting and Claims as part of a continuous improvement process and implementation of training courses and workshops
Advising power plant clients on technical issues from the perspective of a commercial insurer - account engineering
Further development of valuation standards

Your profile:

Completed university degree in engineering (M.Sc., PhD), preferably power plant technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
Several years of professional experience with a power plant manufacturer or operator, ideally with a focus on commissioning of gas and/or steam turbine plants
Analytical thinking as well as structured and efficient way of working
Customer orientation as well as communication and teamwork skills
Fluency in written and spoken English (at least level C1), further foreign language skills desirable
High willingness to travel on (inter)national business trips
