Underwriter Property Global Risks

Your tasks:

Co-underwriting of property global risk accounts with final underwriting authority
Eventually assumption, monitoring and management of an own global risk portfolio with responsibility for the results
Participation in a corresponding Global Risk Practice Group
Coordination of overarching Practice Groups topics (such as benchmarking, target lists, etc.)
Assessment and visual preparation of the Global Risk portfolio performance in the Property Global Risk segment
Support of other Underwriters in managing Property Global Risk portfolios
Planning, aligning and driving strategic change projects, especially related to digitalization, automation and data analysis
Lead of and/or participate in cross-functional project teams (actuarial, data analytics, risk engineering and underwriting)

Your profile:

Mathematical, technical or economic university degree, qualified insurance and finance professional by trade with appropriate further qualifiction (e.g. insurance specialist / business economist) or comparable education
Professional experience in underwriting industrial property risks
Strong understanding of numbers and enjoyment of data analytics
Experience in project management, agility and organisation
Experience with Microsoft Office products, willingness to familiarise yourself with other IT systems
Independent and solution-oriented way of working in a team
Communicative, intercultural and interpersonal skills
Fluent in written and spoken German and English
