Your tasks:

Join the casualty underwriting team agile to support the digital transformation of international casualty insurance for more than 5,000 international programs in more than 175 countries across HDI Global SE
Analyze, optimize and harmonize international casualty insurance products and wordings (e.g. master cover, locally agreed standard wordings) to support client needs and enhance operational effectiveness
Collaborate with international stakeholders to develop our casualty interprocess product ensuring global compliance and optimizing coverage
Support optimization of inter processes communication and international insurance workflows, including policy issuance, claims handling, premium calculation, and compliance procedures
Drive process improvement initiatives and advise on change management strategies with the line of business, facilitate product and process redesign workshops, and lead cross-functional teams to implement best practices, automation solutions, and digital tools for streamlined international insurance operations

Your profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Law, Computer Science or a related field
Advanced certifications or professional qualifications in Business Process Management (BPM) or insurance management are highly desirable
Extensive experience in casualty underwriting for industrial accounts and respective insurance products
In-depth knowledge of international insurance operations, including policy issuance, claims handling, compliance, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
Experience in business process management, preferably within the insurance industry, with a focus on international insurance programs
Proven track record in leading process improvement initiatives, driving organizational change, and successfully implementing optimized processes and automation solutions
Proficiency in process modelling tools, data analysis tools, and visualization techniques is preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data, conduct performance analysis, and provide strategic insights
Excellent English knowledge in word and writing, German language skills are an advantage
