Your tasks:

Responsible for the execution of the Marine Underwriting strategy within the relecant geographical area
Execute and maintain Underwriting governance, guidelines and technical audits worldwide
Responsible for remaining Referral Underwriting and strategy deviations for the relevant area, monitoring and analysing amounts/reason
Oversee and execute local portfolio steering
Promote collaboration in home office and between home office, local entities and other functions
Support up-skilling of Underwriting staff

Your profile:

Completed training in insurance and finance and further training as an insurance specialist or
completed studies with a focus on business administration or law
Experience in underwriting in marine insurance, especially industrial risks, is desirable
Strong communication skills in conducting talks and negotiations
Fluent in written and spoken English, other foreign languages welcome
Willingness to travel within and outside Europe
