Your tasks:

Technical management and quality control of the global handling of transport claims (cargo and freight forwarders liability) for our customers from various sectors of the industry as part of the Marine Claims team in the role of claims expert
Support for Underwriting and Risk Engineering in optimizing existing insurance concepts and developing new insurance solutions and loss mitigation measures for our customers
Professional expertise in monitoring the progress of claims in your portfolio
Coordination of global branches in relation to claims cases
Participation in national and international projects with a future-oriented focus

Your profile:

Successful completion of a (university) degree in an insurance-related field (e.g., insurance clerk, freight forwarding clerk, industrial engineering, finance, law, or similar)
Several years of experience in claims handling at an industrial insurance, freight forwarder or an internal insurance department is desirable
Ideally, knowledge of the specifics of international program business and competencies in maritime and transport law
Persuasiveness and strong argumentative and advisory skills towards internal and external stakeholders
Good command of German and English, spoken and written
