Your tasks:

Application of mathematical/actuarial methods to derive technical contribution models and portfolio strategies
Collaboration in the establishment of a portfolio management process interlinked with reserving elements
Identification of trend developments in portfolios of individual lines such as aviation, political risks, terrorism or art insurance
Discussing content with underwriting and actuarial departments
Collaboration in the harmonisation and further development of our IT structure

Your profile:

Completed studies in the field of (business) mathematics, data science, statistics or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in reserving or pricing in primary insurance or reinsurance is desirable
Actuary (DAV) or comparable qualification, at least a desire to achieve membership of the DAV
Sound knowledge of modern tools and programming languages (ResQ, Python, R, SQL, DBT) and extensive knowledge of data analyses in general
Understanding of the interrelationships in an insurance company and interest in underwriting
High motivation, strong communication skills, customer orientation and ability to work in a team
Interest in working in an international environment
Very good written and spoken English skills, good German skills
