Your tasks:

Underwriting & Portfolio Management: Underwrite large industrial property risks (co-/referral underwriting) in the Global Risk sector (Automotive/Mobility, Semiconductors/High Tech/Data Comoanies, Heavy Industries, Pharma). Support portfolio steering and optimisation, including cycle management
Risk & Pricing Analysis: Conduct technical risk assessments and natural hazard exposure analyses. Apply analytical pricing methods
Contract Management: Draft and review insurance contracts and wording
Strategic & Performance Contribution: Support the implementation of the profit-oriented growth strategy
Contribute to portfolio performance reviews, conferences, and the development of KPIs and analytical tools

Your profile:

Solid expertise in underwriting large industrial risks
Strong technical understanding and familiarity with actuarial pricing methods
Proficiency in using underwriting tools
Sound knowledge of insurance contract wordings
Skilled negotiator, especially with demanding brokers and clients
Experience in portfolio steering and optimisation
Experience navigating and underwriting across various market cycles, including both hard and soft market conditions
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
