Your tasks:

Preparation and further development of accounting guidelines for the Corporate & Specialty segment
Carrying out fundamental work to answer accounting questions in accordance with IFRS in the segment
Advising the segment's foreign units on external accounting issues and the interpretation of Group and segment governance
Supporting the implementation of control mechanisms and monitoring procedures to ensure implementation and compliance with the guidelines
Quality assurance of IFRS packages through the development of accounting guidelines
Contact person for the auditors and Group Accounting
Collaboration on projects and support for special accounting-related issues in the segment

Your profile:

Completed university degree in business administration or a comparable degree programme, ideally with a focus on accounting or insurance
Several years of professional experience in the accounting department of an insurance company or in an auditing firm
Experience in the preparation and further development of accounting guidelines is an advantage
Sound knowledge of insurance accounting regulations and standards with a focus on IFRS (in particular IFRS 17)
Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and present them in an understandable way
Independent, performance-orientated and reliable way of working
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Fluent in German and English
